I legit stopped and laughed out loud after reading the body farts paragraph! Classic Bales. I know for sure I'm not going to get body farts in anything else I'm going to read.

I'm finding that DFS is a great analogy for life. Life is one giant GPP contest. If you want to succeed at a high level, you need to be contrarian and unique. That approach also means that you can fall flat on your face. That's okay because falling in the middle isn't great either. Take these risks, but do it sparingly.

Day to day life is like cash games. Get good sleep, eat well, and invest in the S&P 500. You will progress forward and win more H2Hs. :p

lightweighttt! Man, I loved Ronnie.

I can relate to this article.

I, too, went bonkers in college with laser-like focus for the pecs. I spent all day reading articles about nutrition, biomechanics, and other things I thought would help me turn into Adonis.

Took supplements that likely did not go through the testing things hopefully do today and certainly had my fair share of mirror flexing sessions.

I think it was a good experience when looking back. To this day, I learned a lot about taking care of myself that I can still apply now (with updated science and studies), but the principles I learned during those times correlate.

Your type of "all-in" dedication to whatever craft you choose is paramount to being successful at the levels you've reached.

Kudos and well done in regards to not looking back and wishing for something different. Your path is exactly that and it has led you to this.

Good job, Bales.
